From 26 July through 12 August from 9:00 to 5:00 pm, the public is invited to watch internationally renowned bamboo artist and Ikebana master, Tetsunori Kawana, create Passages: Green Wall on the lawn of Mint Museum Randolph for the Mint Museum of Craft + Design's Project Ten Ten Ten. Kawana and community volunteers will create a 20 x 20 x 82 foot passageway constructed of straight and split Madake bamboo. The installation will provide a passage for visitors to travel through. The artist hopes that visitors will leave the installation with a sense of well-being and connectedness to the natural cycle of life.
