Dissolving the boundaries between surface and form, this workshop will introduce a simple, low tech printing process for layering text and images on ceramics and other surfaces. No experience is necessary; workshops are open to artists of all skill levels.
Over the years, Ms. Selvin, a master ceramist, has focused her research on perfecting a technique for transferring printed images onto clay, and will demonstrate the screening process. With some experimentation, this method can be used to print on other objects as well.

Summer intensive classes at Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) begin on May 16 and run through August 12, 2011. PGC offers intensive one-week glass classes with world-renowned artists as instructors.
