Dissolving the boundaries between surface and form, this workshop will introduce a simple, low tech printing process for layering text and images on ceramics and other surfaces. No experience is necessary; workshops are open to artists of all skill levels.
Over the years, Ms. Selvin, a master ceramist, has focused her research on perfecting a technique for transferring printed images onto clay, and will demonstrate the screening process. With some experimentation, this method can be used to print on other objects as well.
